NewFire Tour Vlog Series Episode 3 (NewFire on KXOJ!)

KXOJ has won station of the year 3 years in a row! It is an awesome and very well respected radio station and we were very privileged to have been brought on to the show. It was an honor. We had an interview, played “Jesus Loves Us All” off the CD, and performed the single “Choosing You Today” live in studio. It was a grand time.

And then we went to a great little café after it was over and got some breakfast. I enjoyed that part a lot too. Lol.

I’m working on the video of the Warren Barfield show that it is talked about during the interview. I’ll have that video up in the next couple of days. So keep checking back often. Also, we will be on American Family Radio (AFR) next week for an interview. I hope to get a video made of that as well. Lots of cool stuff coming up. Stay tuned!

NewFire Tour Vlog Series Episode 1 (Montana Ventures)

The guys are great and I love being able to play with them. They all have sincere relationships with the Lord and the most important thing to them is to be in His will. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of NewFire. I hope the vid makes you laugh. ; )

See You At The Pole 08

This morning my roommate Josh and I got to lead worship for a “See You At The Pole” event in Sapulpa Oklahoma. It was an elementary school and it was their first time to ever have a “See You At The Pole.” It was AWESOME! We opened in prayer, then had a time of worship, and then broke up into three groups to pray for 1 of 3 things that the organizer had on her heart to pray for. They were “Faculty and Staff”, “Military”, and unfortunately I don’t remember the third one. There were about 40 people or so there. Maybe a little over including parents and teachers.

It was really special for me to get to be a part of leading worship for a “See You At The Pole” event. I attended “See You at the Pole” every year from middle school through high school – and then I attended even after I was out of school to video tape them. So I was very glad I got to be a part of this one as well. It is just so awesome to me that all across the country students get to gather at their SCHOOL flag pole to PRAY. In this day and age (with all the political correctness and tolerance garbage) that is a very massive thing. I am so thankful to the Lord for it. Thank you Jesus!!

The lunch lady invited Josh and I inside after we were finished with the event for a hot breakfast: pancakes on a stick. It was awesome. It was my first time to be back in a school cafeteria in 4 years. I’d actually missed it. We got to sit and eat with all of the elementary school students. It was a marvelous time. All of the 5th grade girls thought we were the stuff. They told us we looked like the Jonas brothers. HA! Which I hope that I don’t really, but I think that coming from that age bracket it is probably a compliment. Lol.

Tonight NewFire played at “That Free Thing” a SYATP after party and evangelistic event where ten different churches came together to worship. It was AWESOME as well. I had a whole lotta of fun and met some really cool folks. And I had an awesome chili dog. It was worth mentioning. Anyways, I’ll have footage of that event up soon in the “NewFire Tour Vlog Series.” So stay tuned! God bless.

Introducing the NewFire tour vlog series!

I know it’s been a while since I updated this blog. But hey, this is gonna be worth it. I’ve been traveling with the contemporary Christian group “NewFire.”  I could have just been blogging about it keeping you up to date with what’s going on in the normal way. . . But since I am a video guy I decided to use that time instead editing videos for your viewing enjoyment. Now you can actually SEE what is going on and not just read about it. Thus I introduce to you the “NewFire Tour Vlog Series.” See, I told you it was worth the wait. : )

This is “Episode 0 – Moving to Tulsa.” (not the most original name in the world, but hey it works) It’s sort of the prologue to the series. In upcoming episodes after this one you will meet the rest of NewFire and get to go with us on some of our “firey” adventures. (Okay that was lame)
